Including but not limited to: venue security, City, County, or State police, and federal entities as warranted.
SUPERSEDING RULE
Any action, behavior, or offense that disrupts PAC operations, damages relations with the venue or guests, harms public relations, or causes significant discomfort to attendees is prohibited. Violating this guideline may result in a ban (temporary or permanent) from all PAC events. This rule takes precedence over all others and may be enforced at any time, without warning or listed reason.
General
We reserve the right to refuse, revoke, or alter registrations to all PAC events, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to failure to abide by the policies listed herein. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time, without prior or posted notice, and reserve the sole right to interpret this Code of Conduct.
As of 8/9/2025, PAC events are a minimum of 13+. The minimum age rules vary event to event. However, some events may be 18+ or 21+. All public PAC chats are 18+ and need ID verification to enter. Any attendees under 16 must be chaperoned at all times. You cannot leave your child unattended; you must be within pointing distance of the minor you are chaperoning. The minor badges are at a reduced rate, but you and your minor must buy a badge. Any attendee under 18 must have a badge purchased on their behalf by a parent or guardian.
All parents are required to fill out and sign the parental consent form found on our website: https://www.palmettofurtheseason.org/contact/parental-consent-form. Minors aged 16 or 17 attending events must have a parent or guardian present at all times, OR provide the signed consent form https://www.palmettofurtheseason.org/contact/parental-consent-form from a parent or guardian. All individuals under 18 will receive a specialty minor badge identifying that they are underage.
Staff
Staff are identifiable by a staff badge and bright yellow lanyard and will have badges that differ from the general attendance badges. Staff is there to help you and make sure events are in check and organized. If you need assistance for any reason, please reach out to event staff for help. Any attendees being rude or disrespectful to a PAC staff member WILL receive disciplinary action. If a PAC staff member is making you uncomfortable or breaking a PAC rule, please reach out to the event organizer via telegram @lightz301. PAC staff will resolve any disputes or disruptive events as necessary. Staff decision is final, and can only be appealed by the head event organizer; PAC staff will issue warnings for any violations as necessary.
Reporting
For any complaints or non-urgent issues, after the event, please email support@palmettofurtheseason.org. Include as many details as possible.
We do not support, nor will we platform individuals with allegations of sexual misconduct, pedophilic, or zoophilic allegations. If someone in attendance at a PAC event has these allegations against them, please fill out this Google form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScrXzymk_q20FJI5tf9Zm0hny0ktqqWCObFzAlIxlRg6eImbQ/viewform?usp=header) to file a report. You may file a report anonymously; however, it may be easier if we have contact information in case we need to contact you and collect more information. Our team will investigate all reports. Investigations may take 1-2 months, but we will do our best to get to the bottom of every report.
Registration
All attendees over the age of 18 must show a government-issued photo ID to pick up their badge at registration. This ID must be within the listed expiration date. Possessing or presenting a fake ID in the state of South Carolina is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail and a significant fine. If you present a fake ID to PAC, we will revoke your registration, confiscate the ID in question, and contact appropriate authorities. All face coverings must be removed for staff to present your badge to you, including but not limited to: balaclavas, fursuit heads, pup hoods, helmets, hats, and sunglasses. Medical masks are an exception to this rule. Badges must always be visibly displayed, and you must surrender your badge to any staff member upon request. PAC reserves the right to request the purchase of a full-price registration to replace a lost or stolen badge.
PAC reserves the right to confiscate or withhold any badge bearing an inappropriate name dated for that event and at our discretion. A single warning will be given, and a single replacement badge may be issued at no expense on a case-by-case basis.
You acknowledge that your government-issued identification will be required to verify the identity of the person listed on the registration and validate details. This includes confirming legal name, date of birth, address, and facial match. This information is used solely to verify age and identity. PAC may have your age and name on file to use in case an emergency arises. This information is not to be shared or published with any outside parties that are not concat or PAC, and Information will only be used in emergencies and for analytic statistics. This rule does not apply to minors.
No one is permitted to enter an event space without valid registration and which must be represented by a PAC-issued badge. Badges may not be shared, borrowed, or duplicated. Any badge transfers must be processed through concat for validity. Failure to comply may lead to badge revocation without refund and removal from the venue.
Refunds and Rollovers
Refunds will not be issued for any reason. However, a rollover may be credited up to one event. If you cannot attend the event and simply don’t show, you will have 14 calendar days to email us after the event date to be credited with a rollover.
Behavior and Dress Codes
Do not block walkways or loiter; walkways must remain open and clear to ensure a smooth flow of traffic throughout the venue.
Loud noise makers like speakers are prohibited.
Smoking, including marijuana, is prohibited within 100 feet of the event entrance. Violations may result in immediate badge revocation without refund.
All event spaces are to be considered all ages unless explicitly stated otherwise. Dress code may depend on the event and its age rating. However, one guideline that will never change is that clothing and tattoos with symbols that have racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-Semitic, white supremacist, and/or Nazi underlying messages and symbolism are strictly prohibited. PAC events will never platform or support individuals who support these beliefs.
Clothing displaying hardcore blood and gore, and/or pornographic material is also prohibited. Collars are allowed, leashes are prohibited.
Public displays of affection like holding hands, hugging, and a quick kiss are fine; anything more intense or not age-friendly is prohibited.
Consent is a must! Remember that under these big, fluffy costumes, there is still a human. Consent must be granted before physical contact takes place. Any non-consensual grabbing or touching must be reported to staff immediately. We have a zero-tolerance policy for non-consensual activities.
If disagreements arise between individuals, it’s expected that they be resolved privately, between the two parties one-on-one. If the issue escalates beyond the scope of the two parties, then it may be brought up to PAC staff. PAC staff are not responsible for resolving interpersonal or relationship issues between individuals. PAC can take no action to prevent a person from attending the event, unless that person has made a specific and credible threat toward the event, if an individual can produce a legal restraining order, and/or if they are credibly reported as a “problematic person”, and a PAC investigation comes to the same conclusion.
Understand and respect your surroundings. Is this event in a closed area? Or is this event in a wide open field? Be respectful of the individuals around you and please refrain from screaming, yelling, or making loud noises in areas that are not appropriate. Respect admins. If an admin tells you to readjust your tone or your volume, do as they instruct. Remember, at these events, you are also representing the furry fandom and community as a whole; please make the public's impression of the furry fandom a good one.
Harassment towards anybody is unacceptable. Behaviors that target anyone due to features of the individual, identity, or disability are prohibited.
