Palmetto Fur The Season is a quarterly event hosted every 3 months aka every season. With the goal of creating a fun and safe space with unique meeting experiences to unite the furry fandom, through professionally organized events. Palmetto Fur The Season is also a launching point for bringing an even bigger event to the Palmetto State.

Why the zero? Why isn’t this Palmetto Fur The Season 1?
Well, this is Palmetto Fur The Season's first event, we want to make sure everything goes well before we open the flood gates. So we're hosting a test event, Palmetto Fur The Season 0: The Spring Festival. Our first official event will be announced later this year.
Will anything be different about Palmetto Fur The Season 0 compared to other events in the future?
Yes, this event will have a very strict and small attendance cap as we do not want to be overwhelmed with too many attendees at our first event.
The Attendance cap for Palmetto Fur The Season 0 is 50! once tickets sell out, they're all gone!
Thanks to support from Anthros of South Carolina, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, we can lift the attendance cap originally placed. Thanks to their helping paws, we will have individuals with more experience, running events such as Happy Howlidays, helping us. Due to this, we feel comfortable with expanding the event capacity to the venue limit of 200 as the new cap!
Are minors allowed at this event?
At the current moment all Palmetto Fur The Season Events are 16+ if you are 16/17 Any Individuals aged 16 or 17 attending events must have a parent or guardian present at all times, OR to come alone you provide a printed out signed consent form(downloadable here). All individuals 16 or 17 will receive a specialty minor badge
What events will be at Palmetto Fur The Season?
There will be plenty for attendees to do at all times, with our main highlighted events being the fursuit games and the Easter egg hunt! Our full schedule of events can be found here. There will be artist alley style tables available inside the main hall with 7 table slots open; these tables will be for artists to come and take little at-event commissions. Come shop and support our amazing local artists! There will be something for everyone to enjoy! Come and join the fun!
How did Palmetto Fur The Season come to be?
After vending at multiple local anime and comic conventions in the state, Peachylightz and BajaTheWerewolf noticed the amount of furries in attendance at these events and how many flocked to our furry booth . A lot of these individuals were shocked to see other furries, completely unaware of how big of a furry community there was in their backyard. In most part due to the lack of organized events in South Carolina, so Palmetto Fur The Season was born to change that
What are our credentials in organizing furry based events?
Our team has experience running and organizing a large, Invite-only furry meet group called the CHS Snoot Boopers, a Bi-weekly meetup group based in Charleston, SC. We have hosted meets from local parks, to naval warships such as the USS Yorktown, as long as we get consent to host and it's safe to suit, there is no place we won't meet, Palmetto Fur The Season just feels like the next step.
